Because , the title itself gives the answer away . "Give me liberty or give me death " is almost like saying you have two options and either way your gonna pick your poison. It sounds like there sick of dealing with such long dilemma and they wish to get it over with just like we wish for the pandemic to be completely gone.
I think it’s a because you if they say their name, you shouldn’t try to figure out how to spell it bc they think you weren’t listening to them and you need them to repeat it or something.
