Answers and Step-by-step explanations:

(Important:) Before we solve this equation, it is important to know that the larger the denominator is, the smaller the number's value is (unless it is rounded or simplified and ends up being a greater amount, such as 40/50 = 8/10, which is greater than 3/10). It may be confusing, but I'll explain as we go on.

1.) As I mentioned before, the bigger the denominator; the less it's value. In this situation, 1/4 would be the smallest. The fraction 3/4 is greater than 1/4. But because 7/8 is is greater than 3/4, because 6/8 equals 3/4. The fraction 7/8 is greater than 6/8, therefore making 7/8 being the greatest fraction. So, least to greatest looks like this:

<u>1</u>   <u>3</u>  <u>7</u>

4  4  8

2.) In this problem, 3/10 would be the smallest number given, because 1/2 and 4/5 are greater than this value. For this problem though, it requires several steps. The fraction 4/5 is equal to 8/10, and the fraction 1/2 equals 5/10. And yes, I know that I had mentioned that a larger denominator has less value than a smaller one, but remember what I had also said: that "unless it is rounded or simplified and ends up being a greater amount," then it is more than the smaller denominator. So least to greatest looks like this:

<u>3</u>    <u>1</u>   <u>4</u>

10  2  5

I can answer the rest, but they are very hard to see. Can you please edit your post with a little bit of a better picture of the last two problems so that they are easier for me to see and answer? I would like to help you answer the rest, so if you could do that that would be helpful.

I hope what I wrote so far is helpful, I look forward to your reply.

HELP<br> FOLLOW PEMDAS RULES<br> 6 ÷ 2(1+2) =<br> GOOD LUCK :)
inysia [295]

Answer:

9

Step-by-step explanation:

PEMDAS IS

parentheses

Exponents

Multiply and divide

Addition and subtraction

First you start with the parentheses so

1 + 2 = 3

Now you have 6/2 x 3

Multiply and divide means you either divide or multiply what ever comes first going left to right

So

6/2 = 3

3 x 3 = 9

If it was reversed we’d have

2 x 3/6 which would be

6/6 = 1

Given a soda can with a volume of 21 and a diameter of 6, what is the volume of a cone that fits perfectly inside the soda can?
NARA [144]

Answer: The volume of a cone that fits perfectly inside the soda can is 7.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Volume of soda can = 21

Diameter of can = 6

As we know the formula for "Volume of cylinder:"

Volume=\pi r^2h\\\\21=\pi 6^2h\\\\h=\frac{21}{36\pi }\\\\h=\frac{7}{12\pi }

Now, we have to find the volume of a cone that fits perfectly inside the soda can.

so, its radius will be 3 cm and height will be \frac{7}{12\pi }

As we know the formula for "Volume of cone":

Volume=\frac{1}{3}\pi r^h\\\\Volume=\frac{1}{3}\times 6\times 6\times \frac{7}{12\pi}\\\\Volume=7

Hence, the volume of a cone that fits perfectly inside the soda can is 7.
