The light of the sun begins a new solar cycle at winter solstice. The rays shine into the dark, and nurture the newborn like there to be cultivated. The dark triumphs over the light,but this signifies a turning point!!!!!!!!!!

The Native Americans had unsophisticated weaponry... Compared to it's counterpart the settlers which had muskets and rifles with gun powder bullets.

The Natives had (Bows, Knifes, Spears)

 The advantages the Native Americans had was the land, they knew the land better and could maneuver around the settlers and surprise attack them :)
