Round 8.043 to the nearest hundredth

Rounding to the nearest hundredth would make the answer be: 8.04. Just move the digits over twice to the right and if the number is 5 or greater(for the number 3), the answer would have been: 8.05. But since it is a 3(lower than 5), then the answer would just be 8.04.
Hope this helps! :-)

It is 8.because you look at the 4 cuz it is in the hundredths place the you look at the 3 if it is 4 or less take it away if it is 5 or more add 1. It's less so take everything away that is behind the decimal

Five line segments coincide at a point as shown.
Nikitich [7]

Answer:

720º

Step-by-step explanation:

We can use vertical angles to figure this out. We can see that each of the unmarked angles in the triangles is a vertical angle to an empty space. A full circle has the measure of 360º. We need half of that which is 180º.

The sum of the angle measures of a triangle is 180º. We have five triangles so the total angle meaure is 900º.

However, we need to subtract the 180º to get 720º.

One solution to a quadratic equation is x= -5/3 What is true about any remaining solutions?
miv72 [106K]

Answer:

There is exactly one more real solution or there is exactly one more complex solution

Step-by-step explanation:

A quadratic equation is a polynomial of degree two

What this means is that a polynomial has two answers.

Now, from the question, we have an answer already which is a real root

Then the other answer which we do not have can take the form of two answers

It can either be a complex root or other wise be a real root

So the answer to this question is that ;

There is exactly one more real solution or there is exactly one more complex solution

6c-8-2c=-16+c what’s the value of c
Artemon [7]

Answer:

The correct answer is c = -8/3.

Step-by-step explanation:

The first step in solving this problem would be to simplify by combining like terms on the left side of the equation.

6c - 8 - 2c = -16 + c

4c - 8 = -16 + c

Then, we can subtract c from both sides of the equation to get rid of the positive c on the right side of the equation.

4c - c - 8 = -16 + c - c

3c - 8 = -16

Next, we can add 8 to both sides of the equation.

3c - 8 + 8 = -16 + 8

3c = - 8

Then, we can divide both sides of the equation by 3.

c = -8/3

Hope this helps!
