Answer:

This is because the land of the early inhabitants were taken by force.

Explanation:

Christopher Columbus was an Italian explorer and colonizer. He took his ships called the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria on a voyage to Asia. There were some apprehensions along the journey and he decided to stop at the next available land.

The next available land was America and he met people there which were the main inhabitants. He however claimed to discover America and he forcefully took land from the inhabitants and took control of them.

Because America existed long before Columbus arrived. When him and their ships landed here, they did not discover a land, they took it. They stole their gold, raped their women and eventually destroyed all of the original culture, imposing the european way of living.

List the ways in which the proposal is presented that make it appear rational
melomori [17]

Answer: He uses the format of a logical argument by proposing a problem and then giving a solution to the problem.  He lists specifics (have the babies drink mother's milk for a certain number of years for example), and he then makes the situation seem perfectly reasonable by using a kind of syllogistic logic.  He has false premises for his argument, but even with those false premises, he seems to make perfect sense.  Because of this use of a syllogism, the satire is even more harsh and bitter.;
