When Tang rulers took power, they brought peace to the countryside and game more land to the farmers. As a result, farmers were able to make many advances. They improved irrigation and introduced new ways of growing their crops. Farmers also developed new kinds of rice, which grew well in poor soil, produced more per acre, grew faster, and were resistant to disease. These changes helped farmers grow more and more rice. China's farmers also began to grow tea, which became a popular drink. They made improvements in other crops as well. With more food available, the number of people in China greatly increased. At the same time, more people moved southward, where rice grew abundantly in the Chang Jiang valley. This led to th rise of new cities. -

Tju [1.3M]

The correct answer would be option B, Speech Impairment.

As a result of an automobile accident, Jenny suffered brain damage in Broca's area. Jenny is most likely to experience Speech Impairment.

Explanation:

Broca is a part of the brain which is located in the Cerebral Cortex. It is found on the frontal lobe of the left hemisphere. Broca is responsible for the speech production. Motor functions that control the speech production, or language production are controlled by this part of the Brain.

If Broca gets damaged due to any reason, like accident, then the speech of the person is affected. The person with the damaged broca is able to recognize the words, but he is unable to put the words together to form a speech, which means that damage to Broca will lead to the Speech Impairment.

Galina-37 [17]

Answer:

Emotion-focused copying

Explanation:

A small plane has crashed in your neighborhood and you take a fire extinguisher and blankets to the scene. You then stand back and pray when you realize there is nothing you can do to help. In this situation, praying is an example of emotion-focused coping.

Emotion-focused coping techniques aid you in becoming less emotionally reactive to the stressors you face, or altering the way you experience these situations so they impact you differently.

It also involves trying to reduce the negative emotional responses associated with stress such as embarrassment, fear, anxiety, depression, excitement and frustration. This may be the only realistic option when the source of stress is outside the person’s control, like in the case of this plane crash.
