Answer:

With 100:1 leverage a trader can open a position 100 times greater than they could without leverage. For example, if the cost to purchase . 01 lots of EUR/USD is normally $1000 and the broker offers 100:1 leverage, then the trader must put up only $10 as margin.

Gre4nikov [31]

Full Question:

Edwin is the HR manager at a customer care unit with approximately 1,000 employees. He wants to statistically analyze the service data to make the recruitment process more effective by identifying desirable and undesirable qualities of employees. Edwin observes a high positive correlation between the employees' ability to adapt and the turnaround time. However, he decides to avoid using this criterion when recruiting employees. Which of the following, if true, would MOST strengthen this decision to avoid the criterion

A) The statistical significance of the correlation was found to be sixty percent.

B) Another trait, honesty, had a higher correlation coefficient than employees' ability to adapt.

C) The sample size used by Edwin was significantly larger than what was required.

D) Multiple regressions were observed among the variables used for the analysis.

Answer:

The correct answer here is A)

Explanation:

A phenotypically non-bald woman and a bald man produce four bald sons and a non-bald daughter. What are the most likely genotype
Vera_Pavlovna [14]

Answer:

b. bb and BB

Explanation:

For example, pattern of baldness is dominant in man and recessive in female. This is because the gene for baldness (B) in heterozygous state (Bb) expresses itself in male but not in female. It means gene B for baldness behaves as a dominant in male and as a recessive in female. In man due to influence of male sex hormone, a single gene for this trait can cause loss of hair.

But in woman (due to the absence of the male sex hormone) two genes are required to produce baldness.

BB or Bb = Bald in males

bb = not bald in male

BB = Bald in females

Bb or bb = not bald in females

Non-bald womam (bb; XX) x Bald man (BB; XY)

                       XB                                              BY

Xb     XX; Bb (non-bald daughter)          XY; Bb (bald son)

Joe watches Wall Street Week every week. He then throws a dart at the Wall Street Journal. He buys whatever the dart hits. If he
svlad2 [7]

Answer:

The correct answer is d. none of the above.

Explanation:

The purchase decision process represents the different stages through which the individual goes from feeling the need for a product or service to its purchase. This behavior goes beyond the purchase decision itself, reaches the post-purchase behavior phase.

In this case, it may be that there are no products that replace Wall Street, and people are required to purchase it so as not to lose any benefit. Surely because of the prestige of this publication and the guarantee it gives to buyers, despite not agreeing with it, there must be a decision motivated by any other factor.

On January 1, Renewable Energy issues bonds that have a $52,000 par value, mature in ten years, and pay 15% interest semi annual
gayaneshka [121]

Answer:

a) $520

b)$1,820

2) $3,900

Explanation:

a) For issue at 99, we have:

IWe first find the proceeds for when the bond is issued at 99, we have:

Proceeds = Asset's Par value x (issue rate /100)

= $52,000 x (99 / 100)

= $51, 480

Now, let's find the bond premium or discount:

Bond premium = Proceeds - Par value

$51, 480 - $52,000

= $520

b) For bonds issued at 103½, we have:

Let's find the proceeds when the bond is issued at 103½:

Proceeds = $52,000 x (103.½ / 100)

= $53,820

We now find the the bond premium or discount:

Bond premium = Proceeds - Par value

= $53,820 - $52,000

= $1,820

2) To find the interest paid semi-annually, we have:

Interest paid = Par value of the bonds x semi-annual interest rate.

Interest paid = $20,000 x (15%/2)

Interest paid = $52,000 x 7.5%

= 52,000 × 0.075

= $3,900
