<u>Answer</u><u>:</u>

9 +  \sqrt{16} is never the same as \sqrt{9}  +  \sqrt{16}

<u>Reason:</u>

9 +  \sqrt{16}  \\  = 9 +  \sqrt{4 \times 4}  \\  = 9 + 4 \\  = 13

While,

\sqrt{9}  +  \sqrt{16}  \\  =  \sqrt{3 \times 3}  +  \sqrt{4 \times 4}  \\  = 3 + 4 \\  = 7

So, of course, 9 + \sqrt{16} is not the same as \sqrt{9} + \sqrt{16} because their values are different.

Hope you could understand.

If you have any query, feel free to ask.

The height of a free falling object at time t can be found using the function, h(t) = - 12t2 + 36t. Where h(t) is the height in
Lerok [7]
Given that height of the object can be found using the function h(t)=-12t²+36t, the time taken for the object to hit the ground is calculated as follows:
At the time the object hits the ground, height h(t)=0. Substituting this value in the equation we get:
0=-12t²+36t
solving for t we obtain.
12t²=36t
12t=36
hence
t=4
thus the time taken for the object to hit the ground is 4 seconds

1 1/2 miles, this is because 20 minutes is 1/3 of an hour so we can multiply 1/2 by 3
