Hello, and goodnight. The two acts that the Federal Government of 1800 tried to enforce for regulating business were The Sherman Act and the Interstate Commerce Act. Another is The Sherman Act was made to control irregular pricing of a product by a company. It simply tried to stop the monopoly nature of business. The interstate Commerce Act, on the other hand, tried to stop the railways from price discrimination. The railways often charged more for smaller products traveling for a shorter distance. This discrimination was controlled by this act.
One of the biggest changes in the Zhou Dynasty was the mandate of heaven, linking the ruler more to the gods, meaning that the duty of the king was to honor them. During this period also was a huge development in bronze making as well as written script.
The peaceful protests were so important in letting the public see that they were being completely peaceful and weren’t acting maliciously. In the long term these peaceful protests were WAY more effective than a violent protest would have been. They won a lot of people over to their cause instead of being violent and having people not want to support a violent cause.
