Answer:

The first excerpt means that a man was allowing his mood to interfere with his actions. In the text we can see that the man is bothered with something that makes him angry and this makes him drive faster than recommended. Even though he doesn't know what left him like this, his mood is not normal.

The second excerpt means that there is a case of prejudice between two groups of people, which prevents friendships from being made and that some jokes, which may be offended, are said.

Explanation:

In the first excerpt we can observe the influence of our emotions on what we do, which can even put us in situations where we don't care about the risk we run. These emotions may even arise for no apparent reason, this will not change the potential for influence they have.

The second excerpt shows how cases of racism and prejudice prevent good opportunities from being realized. This is because it prevents people from making wonderful friendships that will contribute to different moments in our life.

I would say that a "Scientific article describing the negative effect of school uniforms" would be your best bet because the article contains factual information about how wearing school uniforms deteriorates a child's creativity ( and whatever the article said)!

I hope that this helped. : )

The author could use more data especially for the 3rd paragraph, like about how much time is spent in community service, the author should use more data to try to show the reader the positives and negatives of the community service work

Read the excerpts from The Namesake.
Sav [38]
The statement which best tells how the main conflict in the first excerpt is different from the main conflict in the second excerpt is that THE FIRST EXCERPT ILLUSTRATES AN INTERNAL CONFLICT WHILE THE SECOND EXCERPT ILLUSTRATES AN EXTERNAL CONFLICT.
In literary works, conflict refers to the problems that the main character has to find solutions to in order to achieve his objectives. There are two major types of conflict, these are internal and external conflict. A character is said to be experiencing an internal conflict if he is experiencing psychological disturbance in his mind due to an occurrence which he did not like. External conflict is said to occur when a character is in struggle with another character or an external force.
