Besides helping to discover the structure of DNA, describe two other contributions Rosalind Franklin made to the world of scienc
Rainbow [258]

Answer: Rosalind Franklin discovered the density of DNA and, more importantly, established that the molecule existed in a helical conformation. Her work to make clearer X-ray patterns of DNA molecules laid the foundation for James Watson and Francis Crick's suggestion that DNA is a double-helix polymer in 1953.

What happens in Citric acid cycle?
V125BC [204]

Answer:

Explanation:

Cellular respiration generally involves breaking down of large organic molecules to release ATP (energy). Citric Acid cycle, also known as Kreb's cycle or Tricarboxylic acid cycle is the second stage of the cellular respiration (unique to aerobic organisms). Citric acid cycle occurs in the intracellular space or matrix of the mitochondria of eukaryotes.

Glycolysis, which is the first step of cellular respiration, produces pyruvate which is then converted to Acetyl CoA in order to enter the Kreb's cycle by first combining with oxaloacetate. Generally, citric acid cycle involves an eight-steps reaction consisting of series of reduction-oxidation, hydration, dehydration, decarboxylation reactions, with each step catalyzed by different enzymes.

In a nutshell, oxaloacetate is generated back at the completion of the cycle alongside 2 molecules of CO2, one GTP/ATP molecule and electron donors; NADH2 and FADH2. These reduced electron donors enter the third step of aerobic cellular respiration and act as the first electron donor in the Electron transport chain.

Ymorist [56]

Answer:

Lawrence Kohlberg build on the theories of Jean Piaget in his description of the stages of moral development.

Explanation:

The earlier work of Jean Piaget on cognitive development of children was expanded by Lawrence Kohlberg which he described in 6 stages.

1.Stage 1 : Obedience and punishment orientation

This is focused on children to obey rules and avoid from punishment.

2.Stage 2: Orientation through instruments

Individual should have to be in their  best interest

3.Stage 3 : Good boy , nice girl orientation

The children will approve others and acts to avoid disapproval.Emphasis is placed on good and nice behavior.

4.Stage 4:Law and order orientation

The child will accept the rules of the society  as rules are same for everyone.

5.Stage 5: Social contract orientation-

The world holds different opinions, right, and values and each will accept it mutually.

6. Stage 6: Universal ethical principal orientation-

It is based on abstract reasoning where ethical principles are used.

lions [1.4K]

The right answer is a.anatomy involves symmetry.

In the anatomy of multicellular animals with bilateral symmetry (which form the subregion of bilateria), there are many even organs, that is to say composed of two symmetrical halves, generally positioned on both sides of the median plane. This is the case, for example the human brain that includes two hemispheres, two amygdalas and two hyppocampus, a left and a right.
