Compare the process of carbon fixation in C3 plants to that of C4 plants.
Gre4nikov [31]

Carbon fixation is the process in which plants remove the carbon from atmospheric carbon dioxide and turn it into organic molecules like carbohydrates.

Because different type of plants are located in regions with different conditions they are different types of carbon fixation. Plants that live in arid regions need to conserve water, while plants that live in more moist conditions will not need to conserve water.

The carbon fixation in C3 plants is one-step process. An oxidation reaction occurs because of the enzyme RuBisCo. During the oxidation some of the energy used in photosynthesis is lost in a process known as photorespiration.

Circulating plasma antibodies recognize a what as self and thus do not initiate an immune response
rosijanka [135]

The right answer is a surface glycoprotein.

The antigens of the non-self correspond to any substance foreign to the organism, identified as such by the immune system of our organism which produces an energetic defense. Antigens are usually proteins (more specifically glycoproteins) contained in cells or foreign bodies (red blood cells transfused, organs transplanted, bacteria, viruses), or present in the environment (pollen, mite droppings, cat hair , etc.).

Our body has its own antigens that allow it to have a "specific identity card" and will be recognized as foreign by other organizations. They are called "self antigens".

What hypotheses were supported through not only David Blehert’s initial experiment, but also by the follow-up experiments both h
BlackZzzverrR [31]

Answer:

The fungus can be transmitted through contact and the fungus is deadly to bats.

Explanation:

David Blehert was a scientist who had received a PhD in the field of bacteriology.

David Blehert's hypothesis provided evidence that white-nose fungi were capable of causing death in bats. Even exposure of healthy bats to the bats which were infected with white-nose fungi caused illness and even death of the previously healthy bats.

David Blehert's hypothesis was also supported by other people who conducted the experiments and hence, was considered to be true.
