The silver manes on the baby cheetahs help them to look like a honey badger. While predators would love to feast on a baby cheetah, they would NOT like to mess with a honey badger. This technique is called mimicry. The baby cheetahs disguise themselves to look like a more aggressive and dangerous species so that predators won't try to kill and eat them.
