To be born into an Untouchable caste meant you were looked down upon society, and people, like the name Untouchable, could not even touch you. People in the highest caste had more job opportunities, and had more privileges.

Because the Natives in all wars involving the U.S patriots chose to side with the French and England and most colonial settlers despised their existence on "their land". Also, the U.S government bought new land from the French & Spanish during this time that was on Native territory, so there were many bloody fights that broke out between western settlers and Native tribespeople.
It was a fall of the major Pre-Columbian civilization of the time, and probably the only real power in America capable of standing up to the conquistadors. With the fall of Tenochtitlan it could be said that nothing else stood in the way of the European conquest of the Americas.
