shocked. This is because, the temperature of our bodies is warm because of
exercising and drinking ice-cold water causes a big difference in the
temperature which causes the digestive system to have a hard time. Also, the
body cannot quickly absorb water that is ice-cold so your body will not get its
water replenished easily. For some people, they might even experience chronic
pain in the stomach due to its getting shocked by the sudden entry of the
ice-cold water.
