Answer:

Question 5: 1st Amendment

Question 6: 8th Amendment

Question 7: 3rd Amendment

Question 8: 1st Amendment

Explanation:

(I'll list the amendments that are answer choices, not all of them)

1st Amendment: This amendment states, in a brief summary, that no law shall be made prohibit the freedom of religion. Additionally, people have the right to freedom of speech, protest peacefully, and peacefully gather together.

2nd Amendment: This amendment states that the people are allowed to keep and bear Arms, or in other words, are allowed to keep and use weapons WHEN NECESSARY.

3rd Amendment: This amendment states that soldiers cannot randomly knock on your house and decide they're going to stay for the night. They need consent of the Owner, even during War.

5th Amendment: This one is sort of complicated. It guarantees the right to a grand jury, forbids double jeopardy, and preserves self-incrimination. "Due process of law" is another major thing apart of this amendment, and the government shall give a fair pay or compensation when taking private property for public use.

6th Amendment: The right to a public and fast trial.

7th Amendment: The right of trial by a jury.

8th Amendment: No excessive bail, unusual/cruel punishments, or excessive fines.

9th Amendment: People still have other rights, even if they're not mentioned specifically in the US Constitution.

Why was Fort Sumter of strategic importance to the North and the South?
Colt1911 [192]
North: They had troops, guns, equipment, and provisions inside, and they owned it, and so they wanted to keep it.
South: It was located in the South, and they thought it was rightfully theirs, and that is why they wanted it

It didn't really have any strategic importance, however, it had political importance

hope this helps

Why would an aztec receive five rabbits in exchange for fifty cocoa beans?
Blizzard [7]

The reason is very simple - profit.

The rabbits were not worth much to the Europeans, but were to the Aztecs, but the cocoa beans for the Europeans were like gold. They were a very attractive exotic product from which unique and unseen things were made. In the European market the cocoa beans had enormous price, and the demand for it was very high especially from the aristocracy which loved it and didn't speared money for it.

Why did the crown pass the so called intolerable acts
Marrrta [24]

The Crown passed the Intolerable Acts as to punish the colonists for their disobedience

Explanation:

In the year 1773 the British Parliament had enacted The Intolerable Acts as a penal action against the colonial insubordination after the incident of Boston Tea Party. This was a protest to resist the British Imperialism in U.S. and was majorly concentrated in Boston and Massachusetts.

The protest was staged to oppose the burden of taxes on tea by the Crown. The protest was carried out by entering the ship which was carrying the tea for East India Company and throwing the shipped containers of tea into the Boston Sea port.
