Answer:

 Quotations.

Explanation:

When you think you have your text ready it is good to re-read what has been written in order to check that the message is clear. Also, you could notice if there is any fact or detail missing that can be added. And finally, check that all the quotations are marked for not producing plagiarism. This is important because you shouldn´t take ideas from others and made them look like they are yours.

I hope this answer helps you.

Which option was used to revise this sentence? I studied hard and did well on the exam. Because I studied hard, I did well on
Gelneren [198K]

Answer:

C). Added introductory words or phrases.

Explanation:

Introductory words or phrases are described as the adverbs or interjections that are primarily employed to introduce a sentence in order to establish connectivity between the ideas and ensure a smooth transition.

In the given sentence, 'introductory words or phrases' have been added to revise the sentence. The introductory word 'because' functions to link the two ideas(I studied hard and I did well on the exam') together in a cause-and-effect structure. It converts the first clause('I studied hard') into a 'dependent clause'('Because I studied hard') that is setting the stage for main clause to ensure a smooth transition between ideas and enhance its efficacy. Therefore, option C is the correct answer.

Introduction Paragraph
Masja [62]

Answer:

Imitation entails a cognitive process that is usually sophisticated. When imitating the facial expressions of an adult, an infant has to recognize facial expression, keep the expression’s representation in memory, and translate that abstract representation in real action. Therefore, the varying opinions on when infants are able to imitate adults are linked to varying theories regarding cognitive development in infants. This is because the cognitive abilities of infants are inferred from methodological limitations and behavior and these add to debate on when actual imitation occurs. If imitation is considered broadly to include infant’s imitative behavior of the caregiver, imitation’s importance in infant development can be seen as having a vital role to play in the infant’s formation of relationships as well as the early social skills. Nevertheless, it is important to consider the role that is played by imitation in the early development of a child alongside the other influences which include factors that are predetermined genetically, individual variations in temperament and environmental factors.
