Start from point one, count each square going up til it gets into the same column as the second point near the top! that’s called the rise, then there’s the run. For the run you’ll count howver many squares go to the side then you multiply the ride and run toegeht and then boom there’s ur answer

Nancy bought an extra-large bag of 1,288 beads to make necklaces. When she got home, she found another bag with 784 beads in it.
tekilochka [14]

We are given

Nancy bought an extra-large bag of 1,288 beads to make necklaces

When she got home, she found another bag with 784 beads in it

so, total number of beads =1288+784

total number of beads =2072

now, we have

For one necklace , 56 beads are required

so, 56 beads = 1 necklace

1 bead=\frac{1}{56}necklace

for 2072 beads

2072*1 beads=2072*\frac{1}{56}necklace

2072 beads=37necklace

so,

number of necklaces she can make is 37..........Answer

WARRIOR [948]
He used 7 trays to hold all the marbles with equal number each tray. That means, there will be 16 marbles for each tray. Therefore, the number of marbles he will display on 3 trays would be a total of 48 marbles. Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day.

Can someone help me with #69
alex41 [277]
Ok, so you have a right angle, a given angle, and a given side for the left triangle. We are going to call angle 47° angle A. So angle A=47°, the side connecting the two triangles is directly opposite A making it side "a". We are calling the right angle C and the hypotenuse (the longest side which is 11) "c".  So, Sin A=a/c and since we don't have "a" we multiply both sides by "c" changing it to (c Sin A)=a. 11•Sin(47°)=a

White raven [17]

Answer:

The mean and standard deviation of the number of cars recovered after being stolen is 522 and 8.24 respectively.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that according to insurance records, a car with a certain protection system will be recovered 87% of the time.

Also, 600 stolen cars are randomly selected.

Let X = <u><em>Number of cars recovered after being stolen</em></u>

The above situation can be represented through binomial distribution;

P(X=r)=\binom{n}{r}\times p^{r} \times (1-p)^{n-r} ;x=01,2,3,......

where, n = number of trials = 600 cars

            r = number of success

            p = probability of success which in our question is the probability

                    that car with a certain protection system will be recovered,

                     i.e. p = 87%.

So, X ~ Binom(n = 600, p = 0.87)

Now, the mean of X, E(X) =  n \times p

                                          =  600 \times 0.87 = 522

Also, the standard deviation of X, S.D.(X)  =  \sqrt{n \times p \times (1-p)}

                                                                     =  \sqrt{600 \times 0.87 \times (1-0.87)}

                                                                     =  8.24
