\huge \sf \dag \: Answer  :

\rm 3 {x}^{2}  + 22x - 45

The values of a, b, and c are obtained, namely

  • a = 3, b = 22, c = -45

with the values of a, b, and c above we determine the value of x, then :

\longmapsto \sf x_{1,2}  =  \frac{ - b \pm \sqrt{ {b}^{2} - 4ac } }{2a}

\longmapsto \sf x_{1,2} =  \frac{ - 22 \pm \sqrt{ {22}^{2}  - 4(3)( - 45)} }{2(3)}

\longmapsto \sf x_{1,2} =  \frac{ - 22 \pm \sqrt{484 - 4( - 135)} }{6}

\longmapsto \sf x_{1,2} =  \frac{ - 22 \pm \sqrt[]{484 + 540} }{6}

\longmapsto \sf x_{1,2} =  \frac{ - 22 \pm \sqrt{1.024} }{6}

\longmapsto \sf x_{1,2}  =  \frac{ - 22 \pm32}{6}

with that we get the values of x, namely :

\longmapsto \rm x_{1}  =  \bf \frac{10}{6}  = 1 \frac{2}{3}

\longmapsto \sf x_{2} =  \bf - 9

Solution Set = {1⅔, -9}

PLEASSEEEE HELP ASAP , WHAT IS THE SHAPE OF THE BASE AND SURFACE AREA?
zmey [24]

Answer:

Total surface area : 733

The shape of the base is a rectangle with sides 11 in. and 12 in.

Step-by-step explanation:

The shape of the base is a rectangle with sides 11 in. and 12 in.

The surface area is the sum of the areas of the 5 sides.

Area of the base = 11*12 = 132

Area of the two triangles =  (11*16)/2 = 88

Area of the back rectangle = 192

The theorem of Pitagora to find the oblique side: square root of (11*11 + 16*16)= 19.42 in.

So the area of the oblique face: 19.42* 12 = 233 (almost :) )

So total surface area: 132 + 88*2+192+233= 733 square in

For the inverse variation equation p=8/V<br> what is the value of Vwhen p=1/2?
NISA [10]

Answer:

v = 16

Step-by-step explanation:

p = 8/v and p = 1/2.  Equating these two, we get 8/v = 1/2.

Inverting both sides, we get v/8 = 2.

Find the vaue of v by multiplying both sides by 8:  v = 16
