Why do you think developing language skills is important to a child? How would you foster this?
alexgriva [62]
Children learn a lot within the first nine years of their life, in fact, our brains are still in development until about the age of 26! So it is very important to get those skills early on in life while the brain is still really developing (around ages 0-9 and even still till the age of 26)
Encourage children to read and pronounce things clearly. Have them listen to fun books on cd. If your child is a bit older try the Harry Potter series, or if they are younger try something like, the Chronicles of Narnia, the Boxcar Children, or even Beatrix Potter if they are in to animals. If younger still, read aloud books like from Doctor Seuss, or the fun and entertaining; The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Perhaps have them take a class on a foreign language, usually Spanish is a good one to start with. And if all else fails, take them in to a doctor who can advise and help a child in other ways than these.                                          Hope this helps!

Write a paragraph that explains how the author’s point of view makes the texts more or less effective in giving readers accurate
klio [65]

Answer:

High Flying Hero and Hang On, Dolly are the titles of the books I'm analyzing.Christy Mihaly is the author of High Flying Hero, and Sally Lee is the author of Hang On, Dolly.Cher Ami is the name of a pigeon in The High Flying Hero.Cher Ami nearly perished while delivering a significant message during World War II.With the message, Cher Ami saved hundreds of lives. The goal of Christy Mihaly's writing was to inform the readers.Hold on, the story of Dolly shepherd is about a woman who put her life in danger multiple times. She had a terrible accident and was told she would never be able to walk again, but she enjoyed parachuting. That didn't stop her from parachuting, and she assisted in both World Wars.Sally Lee's goal was to motivate people to pursue their goals despite obstacles. Both texts, in my opinion, are effective.Hold on, Dolly teaches valuable life lessons and has a lot of knowledge about Dolly.High Flying Hero has interesting aspects and a lot of information about World War I.
