As I woke up to a pleasing scent of lavender, I stretched and went on to get some breakfast, I stared at the table it was full of mouthwatering food such as waffles, ice cream, and even my favorite, chocolate pancakes! I glanced at mom and asked her, "Are we celebrating something?" My mom giggled as she told me, "don't act like you don't know it's your birthday!" I totally forgot! As I thanked my mom for the amazing breakfast, I demolished the food. As I finished, I remembered that I had homework due today, I decided not to waste my special day, so I did it right that instant. In 40 minutes I was finally free, I got on my phone and started inviting all of my friends to a grand party, I was about to explode, but there was a minor problem; my mom didn't tell me or my friends when or where it is gonna start, she told me that she explained all the details to my friends' parents. Closer to 7:00 PM I and my mom were ready to head out, my mom closed my eyes when we arrived. And there was the moment of truth, my mom tells me to open my eyes, AND IT IS A WHOLE THEME PARK! I couldn't believe my eyes, light shining in every corner of my eyesight, the aroma of scrumptious looking meals! It looked like somebody fused a carnival with Disney! Everybody had so much fun that it feel like I really forgot about all of the bad things and just slackened! Also I slept so late, I woke up at 3 PM the next day!
