The correct answer is B. Think for themselves.

Immanuel Kant 1724 - 1804) was a Prussian philosopher of the Enlightenment, noted for being one of the most influential thinkers of modern Europe and universal philosophy. One of his most popular publications is “Critique of Pure Reason”, in which he wrote about the structure of reason itself. Also, he made important advances in science, law, morals, religion, and history, having achieved, in this way, he related empiricism and rationalism by proposing that although all our knowledge begins with experience, no everything arises from it, because reason plays an important role in this process. One of Kant’s most important approaches was that of the “immaturity” (in opposite to Enlightenment) he used to refer to individuals who did not use their own reasoning and rely on other individuals. In addition, Kant affirmed it was through Enlightenment or self-reasoning that individuals could get out of that immaturity. So, the correct answer is B. Think for themselves.

Read this excerpt from the US Constitution. Which portion of the text reflects the Enlightenment idea of popular sovereignty?
Yanka [14]

Answer:

The popular sovereignty refers to the principle that the governments rule and derive their power from the consent of the people that are governed. In other words that the governments are of the people for the people. This passage reflects that idea as it is the people of the United States that established the constitution.
