Give me a topic sentence of Brown Girl Dreaming.
forsale [732]

Answer:

Jacqueline Woodson tells her memoir “Brown Girl Dreaming” from the first-person, limited-omniscient, present-tense point of view of herself as a child. She does this for several reasons. First and foremost, the memoir being told is Jacqueline’s, and there is no better person to tell her childhood story than herself. Second, this allows Jacqueline to communicate intimate thoughts, ideas, and feelings with the reader directly, allowing them to see and feel things as she did. It also allows readers a sort of intimacy as if the story was being told by one friend to another. The limited-omniscient aspect lends itself to Jacqueline telling the story as her child-self in present-tense, and not knowing everything going on in the world around her, but having vague ideas or inclinations about events and circumstances beyond her control.

Answer:

Bringing in emotions.

Explanation:

Maria has an emotional connection to car accidents that prevents her from listening effectively.

According to an article on Bright Hub Project Management, "Emotions erect barriers to effective communication. A listener's senses are not likely to be functioning at their optimum level when he or she is angry. Likewise, it is not possible to understand or appreciate what the speaker is saying if the listener is excessively sad."

HELP DUE IN 3 MINUTES
mr Goodwill [35]

Answer:

If I had to wear headphones and listen to one song for 24 hours it would be Dreamy day~Lofi hip hop ~ Chill beats [study/relax/focus music}. I would listen to this song because it is 1:42:20 long with loads of different songs. It also helps me focus and helps me get my work done faster. If I were to listen to a regular song for example: Hold Up by Beyonce, I would get distracted and start listening to the beats of the music and doze off into my own little world.

Explanation:

This is my random pick and I didn't really have anything in mind but I hope this is alright and correct me if I did this wrong. Have a good one!
