The height of the monument is 555 ft and the angle of elevation from the ground is 60°. If d is the distance from a man`s feet to the base of the monument than:
tan 60° = 555 / d
√3 = 555 / d
d = 555 · √3 = 555 · 1.732 = 320.44 ft.
The distance from the man`s feet to the top of the monument is:
320.44 ft · 2 = 640.88 88 ft.
Answer:
    The distance from the man`s feet to the base of the monument is 320.44 ft ( just that is correct ).

What is the fraction twelve twentieths in it's simplest form
tatyana61 [14]
We start with 12/20. Half both numbers = 6/10. Half again = 3/5.
Because 3/5 are both odd numbers and can't be made smaller without using decimals (which you don't want to use within a fraction), 3/5 is the simplest form for this fraction.

Taylor is twice as old as jessi if you add their ages together you get 27 hold old are Taylor and jessi
deff fn [24]

Answer: Taylor is 14 and Jessi is 13

Step-by-step explanation:

Since you can't divide 27 by 2, you would most likely break it in half. SInce the question states that Taylor is still older, she would be 14, and Jessi 13.
