Answer:

D.

Step-by-step explanation:

7 5/6 - 9 3/4 = −1 11/12

(-7 5/6) + (-9 3/4) = −17 7/12

(-7 5/6) * 9 3/4 = -76 3/8

(-7 5/6) / (-9 3/4) = 94/117

This is easy to figure out at a glance, but I thought whole answers would be easier to understand.

So basically, the equations two negatives are better off being crossed off if negatives are being added together, multiplied together, or multiplied by a positive number. Negative divided by a negative will be the greatest answer, because it will lead to a positive most of the time.

geniusboy [140]
30 liters bought...4 liters left-over.....30 - 4 = 26 liters used

1 liter = 0.264172 gallons...so 26 liters is 26 * 0.264172 = 6.868472 gallons...rounded would be 6.9 gallons or if u need it rounded to the nearest gallon, it would be 7 gallons

If you have 66 data observations in a sample, how many classes (bins) does the sturges' rule recommend for you to construct a fr
Iteru [2.4K]

According to Sturge's rule, number of classes or bins recommended to construct a frequency distribution is k ≈ 7

Sturge's Rule: There are no hard and fast guidelines for the size of a class interval or bin when building a frequency distribution table. However, Sturge's rule offers advice on how many intervals one can make if one is genuinely unable to choose a class width. Sturge's rule advises that the class interval number be for a set of n observations.

Given,

n = 66

We know that,

According to Sturge's rule, the optimal number of class intervals can be determined by using the equation:

k=1+log_{2} n

Here, n is equal to 66 and by substituting the value to the equation we get:

k=1+log_{2} (66)

k = 7.0444

k ≈ 7
