So basically i need some help with this question 2x + 3 x = 3 does anybody know?

Answer:

2x+3x=3

2x=3+3x

2x=6x

divide

x=3

X = 3/5

2x + 3x = 3 , combine like terms so that gives you

5x=3

The opposite of multiplication is division so get rid of the 5 by diving

x = 3/5
