The question wants to analyze your writing skill. For that reason, I will not write your text, but I will show you how to write it.

The central conflict of the story is that the tests the narrator is prepared to do will be on the same date as his friend's recital and he is in doubt about which event to attend.

This is an internal conflict, where the character confronts his own thoughts and wills.

<h3>How can the text be continued?</h3>
  • First paragraph: Show the narrator analyzing which event must attend. Present his doubts and conflicts about this situation.

  • Second paragraph: Show the narrator deciding that he will take the tests, but that he is afraid to tell his friend this, as this will prevent him from attending her friend's recital.

  • Third paragraph: Show how the narrator tells this to his friend and makes the friend understand the situation and support the friend's decision because that's what friends do.

According to MLA style, what is the correct way to identify titles of books in citations?
belka [17]
<span>According to MLA citation style, book titles should be given in italics. A title is enclosed by quotation marks if a text or film piece is part of a larger work. These would include a chapter title, a poem or short story from a published collection, a tv episode, a song title, or a magazing article. Larger, stand-alone works are put in italics. So book titles, movie titles, magazine names, tv series names, album titles. Quotation marks are tiny, while italics affect the entire title; so remember small works = quotation marks, large works = italics</span>

Read this sentence.
dezoksy [38]

Answer:  Relative clause is<u> "that are not registered."</u> It <u>is essential</u> to the meaning of the sentence and, therefore, <u>does not require commas</u>.

Explanation:

A clause that starts with a relative pronoun (who, that, which, whose, where, when) is called a relative clause. The purpose of these clauses is to provide more information about the noun that precedes them. In this case, relative clause "that are not registered" is used to describe the noun "cars." It is essential to the meaning of the sentence, since it tells us which cars in particular will be towed to the nearest impound lot. If a clause provides important information, it is considered essential and does not require commas.
