<u><em>Answer:</em></u>

<u><em /></u>

#1

I don't know what you guys read to summarize so I'm gonna leave this one to you. :P

#2

a)  The executive branch is one of the three branches of government. This branch is responsible for carrying out and executing said laws. This branch also contains the president of the nation along with the vice president and other committee members.

b)  The president is the elected ruler of a nation.

c)  Checks and balances is a way to say that the nation's governing authorities have been divided into three separate branches to balance the power each branch has over the other while also maintaining the fact that no singular power overwhelms the force in any terms.

#3

The executive branch has the president who acts as the leader of the state and the entire nation. He/it is responsible for enforcing laws, rejecting laws, negotiating treaties, granting forgiveness for crimes, and appointing judges. These are also the power that this branch holds. The limitations or the restrictions that this branch has are getting approval from the Senate, the president's rejection or veto can be overwritten, etc.

#4

(I feel like I answered this question)

The US Constitution created a government system where it is divided into branches to have an equal share of power among the government itself. The three different branches are the legislative, judicial, and executive. This separation of power is also known as the checks and balances which effectively applies a democratic society among individuals out there.

In which of the following cities would people have found the center of the Byzantine government in Italy? (5 points)
9966 [12]
The correct answer is Ravenna.

That is because Ravenna was a city that was reconquered by the Byzantine empire after it originally fell to the Ostrogoth when the fall of the Western Roman Empire occurred. It was a capital for western Romans and for the Ostrogoth, but it wasn't for the Byzantine people who had their own capitol even after they reconquered it.

Novay_Z [31]
Political parties and interest groups are entities that act as intermediaries between the population and the political sphere. Groups and parties bring together people with similar ideas and visions on specific or broader issues, including economics, migration, taxes, welfare, healthcare, and so on. Although political parties and interest groups are quite different, they are both means through which citizens can deepen their knowledge on political and social issues and can become informed voters.
