The Maison Carrée is located in Nimes, in southern France. It is the only ancient Roman building that is yet to be ruined. However, it is not as fascinating as the Parthenon of Athens.

The Parthenon is previously a temple on the Athenian Acropolis, Greece. It was dedicated to the goddess Athena. Construction began in 447 BC and was completed in 438 BC.

Contrast

However, the two structures are still in existence till date. The two are still in shape as they were when built. The statement that is true of BOTH is that they are both Decorated with elaborate frieze sculptures.

Therefore, statement that is true of both is as given above.

What did peasants gain after the French Revolution
slava [35]

Answer:

The main gain for French peasantry was the elimination of the feudal system by the revolutionary regime following the overthrowing of king Louis XVI; it had been a longtime aspiration of theirs. They could finally acquire full rights of landowners and have a free hand to increase their holdings. Another important gain was the abolition of the tithe, an obligation to contribute to the Church´s coffers with one tenth of their income, a legal tax: That money was used to maintain the clergy and churches.
