The Maison Carrée is located in Nimes, in southern France. It is the only ancient Roman building that is yet to be ruined. However, it is not as fascinating as the Parthenon of Athens.

The Parthenon is previously a temple on the Athenian Acropolis, Greece. It was dedicated to the goddess Athena. Construction began in 447 BC and was completed in 438 BC.
