Do you believe that most Americans would be willing

Answer:

Down below

Explanation:

I don't believe that most Americans would be willing to make large sacrifices to conserve food and energy because most people would be too used to normal life that they wouldn't want to give up those luxuries.  I think this also because most Americans would be raiding grocery stores in search of supplies.  If it came down to life or death, then the shock of it would wear off and some Americans would finally start conserving energy and food.

Answer:

Yes, most definitely. Food is a necessity for everyone, not just Americans, and most if not all people would conserve it if the circumstance needed them to. And energy? For us being Americans, we feel as though we need energy, it fuels every aspect of our everyday lives in a way, so yes. I sure would make sacrifices for both.

Why did European explorers seek a Northeast Passage and how successful were their efforts?
lakkis [162]

Answer:

Since Columbus discovered America in 1492 many European sailors tried to reach Asia by sailing towards the west and that is why one of their goal was to reach it by sailing towards the North. They weren't successful at the beginning because the weather condition and the conditions of sailing were bad and they weren't able to reach Asia through that route until 1906 when Roald Amundsen somehow managed to navigate this route.

Explanation:

Among the first Europeans who tried to find this passage were famous explorers, including John Cabot and Jack Cartier, but they both failed. It just proved the fact that it was practically impossible at the time to use this route.
