Answer:

10ftx10ft, 20ftx5ft, 25ftx4ft

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for the area of a rectangle is:

length * width

In this question, we basically have to find lengths and widths that equal 100:

length * width = 100

Thinking about this we get lots of combinations:

Combo 1 - 1ftx100ft = 100ft^2

Combo 2 - 2ftx50ft = 100ft^2

Combo 3 - 4ftx25ft = 100ft^2

Combo 4 - 5ftx20ft = 100ft^2

Combo 5 - 10ftx10ft = 100ft^2

Here are 5 combos of lengths and widths I came up with that result in 100 square feet :3(I chose combo 3, 4, and 5, but 1 and 2 work too!)

Hope this helps! Please give your brain a break and time to cool down! :3

The slop for (1,5) and (4,11)?
makkiz [27]

Hey there!

The formula is: y2 - y1 / x2 - x1

y2 = 11

y1 = 5

x2 = 4

x1 = 1

Equation: 11 - 5 / 4 - 1

11 / 5 = 6

6 / 4 - 1

4 - 1 = 3

6/3 = 2

cricket20 [7]

Answer:

$95

Step-by-step explanation:

We are told that Carmen makes a monthly payment of no more than 200 dollars. We then see her going above the 200 dollars so we look to the tens and ones place. We see that we now have 25, 45, and 35 dollars. Add them up and you get 105 dollars. 200-105=95 so your awnser is $95.

An article describes an experiment to determine the effectiveness of mushroom compost in removing petroleum contaminants from so
alexgriva [62]

Solution :

Let p_1 and p_2  represents the proportions of the seeds which germinate among the seeds planted in the soil containing 3\% and 5\% mushroom compost by weight respectively.

To test the null hypothesis H_0: p_1=p_2 against the alternate hypothesis  H_1:p_1 \neq p_2 .

Let \hat p_1, \hat p_2 denotes the respective sample proportions and the n_1, n_2 represents the sample size respectively.

$\hat p_1 = \frac{74}{155} = 0.477419

n_1=155

$p_2=\frac{86}{155}=0.554839

n_2=155

The test statistic can be written as :

$z=\frac{(\hat p_1 - \hat p_2)}{\sqrt{\frac{\hat p_1 \times (1-\hat p_1)}{n_1}} + \frac{\hat p_2 \times (1-\hat p_2)}{n_2}}}

which under H_0  follows the standard normal distribution.

We reject H_0 at 0.05 level of significance, if the P-value or if |z_{obs}|>Z_{0.025}

Now, the value of the test statistics = -1.368928

The critical value = \pm 1.959964

P-value = $P(|z|> z_{obs})= 2 \times P(z< -1.367928)$

                                     $=2 \times 0.085667$

                                     = 0.171335

Since the p-value > 0.05 and $|z_{obs}| \ngtr z_{critical} = 1.959964$, so we fail to reject H_0 at 0.05 level of significance.

Hence we conclude that the two population proportion are not significantly different.

Conclusion :

There is not sufficient evidence to conclude that the \text{proportion} of the seeds that \text{germinate differs} with the percent of the \text{mushroom compost} in the soil.

larisa86 [58]

Answer:

3,444

Step-by-step explanation:

The art teacher had 1321 pipe cleaners for a project

She used 477 with the fourth age

A parent donated 2,600 pipe cleaners

Therefore the number of pipe cleaners she have left can be calculated as follows

= 1321-477+2600

= 844 + 2600

= 3,444
