Machu Picchu in Peru and the Taj Mahal in India are testimonies to this fact The Great Sphinx in Egypt is another example of glorious human architectural and artistic activity. Archaeologists believe that the monument dates back to around 2500 BC. This unique structure has the head of a human and the body of a lion.
