Answer:in the early twentieth century, President Theodore Roosevelt was a dynamic force in a relatively new movement known as conservationism. During his presidency, Roosevelt made conservation a major part of his administration. As the new century began, the frontier was disappearing. Once common animals were now threatened. Many Americans, including Roosevelt, saw a need to preserve the nation's natural resources. He wanted to protect animals and land from businesses that he saw as a threat. Roosevelt said, "the rights of the public to the natural resources outweigh private rights, and must be given its first consideration."

Readme [11.4K]

Answer:

a. fear of depth requires learning and experience

Explanation:

Eleanor Gibson and Richard Walk are both Psychologists that started to study and design experiments based on depth perception in infants. They wanted to figure out whether we are born with depth perception or we learn it. To figure this out they created a cliff simulation to put this theory to the test. After conducting the experiments they observed what was stated in the question. Since younger infants were not afraid of the cliff simulation but older infants were then we can say that fear of depth requires learning and experience.

According to Gould's stages of development, which stage is associated with the period of urgency to attain life's goals, the awa
Tamiku [17]

Answer:

The stage is experienced by middle-aged people: people who are between 35 to 43 years of age. In the image attached below this can be seen clearly.

This age coincides with the attainment of higher career goals for many individuals. By this age, people who have become part of the middle and upper middle class are likely to have completed tertiary education, both undergraduate and graduate.

However, some middle-aged people do not achieve those milestones, and this lack of perceived success can lead to depression. Lots of middle-aged people become depressed when they feel that they will not be able to attain their life's goals.

ZanzabumX [31]

Answer:

Waves weather and erode shorelines. Weathering is the breaking down of rocks on or near Earth’s surface. Weathering occurs when waves crash into rocks along the shoreline. Erosion occurs when weathered sediments are moved from one place to another. Sediments can be moved by water, wind, glaciers, or gravity.

One example of waves shaping a shoreline is the formation of a bay and headlands. Waves constantly batter cliffs, breaking down the rock they are made of. Some types of rocks, such as those made from clay or sand, break down more easily. Cliffs made of these types of rocks weather more quickly. The resulting sediments are carried away, and a bay can form. A bay is an area of shoreline that curves inland and usually has a beach. The cliffs made of rocks that do not break down as easily stay in place and extend further into the water compared to the edges of the bay. These cliffs are called headlands.

wariber [46]

According to Gerhard Lenski, the growth of the middle class reduces the polarization between the owning and the working class.

In Gerhard Lenski's theory of inequality, he explained that in the society, some people are going to have a surplus of goods in the society. While other people would not be so lucky to have the same.

According to him, social inequality would arise due to the fact that some people are going to have more bargaining power than other people that are in the society.
