The first 2 sentences of the 4th paragraph about the serpent and the eagle.

Explanation:

An epic simile is just a very long and detailed simile.

In this simile, the eagle is the trojans and the snake is the enemy. The snake is very injured but it bites the eagle which lets go. Just like how trojan is beating the enemy but will fail.

Im not very sure on the history and stuff but this is the overview
