1. The author of this poem felt that her parents did not love her due to the fact that they gave her restrictions and stopped her from doing some things.

2. The author succeeded in giving her parents discomfort because she left to be with her friends. She left to a place where she could do anything.

This is not alright because she could have gone astray and gotten into trouble due to this. Other than this, she could have jeopardized her future.

3. What the author realized about her friends is the fact that they did not really love her. They left her.

4. Through the bad times and the good times the people that were there for her were her family.

Yes I agree with the words of the poem. It tells us that family is everything and the love from ones family is genuine, corrective and helps to direct our paths.

5. The advice that the author gave to is that children have to keep an open mind to the teachings they receive from their families in order to get better in life.

If I am to advice I would say a similar thing. The corrections from our parents may seem tough sometimes, but they correct us because they love us and they want the best for us.

Most of them have much experience of the world and the society we live in. They advice us so that we would not make mistakes that are difficult to correct.

A brief summary of the poem

This is a poem that talks about a defiant child who refused her parents advice. She felt they did not love her so she sought for this in her friends.

Her friends left her at the end and she realized her parents would always be there for her.

Why does the narrator in the story “The Pioneer Hep-Cat” tell the story of General Henry T. Corrigan?
Softa [21]
He was saying that despite being a famous Army Officer, General Corrigan was a man who never forgot where he came or the people he grew up with. Despite his honors and rank, he was still same kid the narrator knew from many years ago. That fact that he greeted him with such enthusiasm tells a lot about the man behind the rank.

C. It is a bad storm outside.

E. They are safe from the storm inside.
