We need zeros

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 9m^2+3m-2=0

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 9m^2-3m+6m-2=0

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 3m(3m-1)-2(3m-1)=0

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow (3m-2)(3m-1)=0

  • m=2/3
  • mm=1/3

How can you solve n-6m=8 for n
disa [49]
To solve for n you have to get n on one side of the equation by itself.
n-6m=8
take -6m and add to both sides. so the side that has n evens out to 0. then you have
n=6m+8
it is this way because you can only add like terms. This should be all you need to do.
Hope this helps

What is the equation, in point-slope form, of the line that is parallel to the given line and passes through the point (−3, 1)?
sveticcg [70]
(2,2)(-2,-4)
slope = (-4 - 2) / (-2 -2) = -6/-4 = 3/2. the slope of this line is 3/2. A parallel line will have the same slope

y - y1 = m(x - x1)
slope(m) = 3/2
(-3,1)...x1 = -3 and y1 = 1
now we sub
y - 1 = 3/2(x - (-3)....not done yet
y - 1 = 3/2(x + 3) <=== its the last one
