Well simply pit it can't be more destructive because a Category 1 hurricane has a sustained wind speed of at least seventy-four miles per hour and can inflict heavy damage to buildings, roofs, windows, and the environment. A Category 5 hurricanes has a sustained wind of more than 155 miles per hour and destroy everything in their paths.

When dealing with the degree of cyclones we have to consider the place where a cyclone can occur.

Why does a Grade 1 cyclone have more consequences?

This is due not only to the degree of the cyclone but where it occurs, so a cyclone of degree 1 in a city will have infinitely greater consequences than a hurricane of 5 in the middle of the ocean.

What landform is circled in the map above?
aniked [119]

Answer: I believe the answer is B. the Sahel

Explanation:

"The Sahel is the ecoclimatic and biogeographic zone of transition in Africa between the Sahara to the north and the Sudanian Savanna to the south"(The Conversation).

The circled area acts as a boundary between what would be the Sahara desert above it so I would go with B.

Kipish [7]

Answer:

The temperature decreases due to distance from the earth's surface.

Explanation:

The temperature decreases with increasing altitude in the troposphere because these air molecules are heated by the radiation and conduction of energy from Earth's surface and therefore air molecules closer to the surface have higher temperatures than molecules further from the surface.

Which of the following examples would provide the best evidence to support the idea that it is important for geographers to unde
Ivanshal [37]

Even though at first geography and religion might appear not to have so much in common, a closer look shows a commonality. The best evidence to support the idea that it is important for geographers to understand religion is;

 • D: Early Christians migrated around the world to spread their religion, which has become the most prevalent world religion today.

Most religions are known to be prevalent in certain geographical locations. Traditional religions are often concentrated in rural locations while Christianity and Islam are found in urban areas.

For example, the movement of Christians from one location to another has made the religion more dominant in certain parts of the world.

Understanding religion will help geographers to understand the reason for trends like this.
