The different arrangements that would be gotten if all science books are put together is =120

Calculation using permutations

The number of science books owned by Annaa= 5

The number of music books owned by Annaa= 3

Total number of books owned by Anna= 8

But the different arrangements that would be gotten if all science books are put together is = 5!

But 5! = 5×4×3×2×1

= 120

Solve by the substitution method. 8x + 9y=56 -9x + y = 26
Nikolay [14]

Answer:

(-2,8)

Step-by-step explanation:

8x + 9y=56

-9x + y = 26

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-9x + y = 26

    +9x = +9x

y = 9x + 26

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

8x + 9(9x+26) = 56    <-- substitute for y from above

8x + 81x + 234 = 56

      89x + 234 = 56

               - 234 = - 234

                  89x = - 178

                      x = -2        <--- we got the x value!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-9x + y = 26

-9 (-2) + y = 26    <-- substitute for x from above

18 + y = 26

   - 18 = - 18

      y = 8    <-- we got the y value!!

Which graph shows the solution
kodGreya [7K]
The given inequality is:

-5c + 2 ≤ 27

Subtracting 2 from both sides, we get:

-5c + 2 - 2 ≤ 27 - 2
-5x ≤ 25

Dividing by 5 on both sides we get:

- x ≤ 5

Multiplying by -1 we get:

x ≥ 5

Remember that multiplying or dividing by a negative number changes the direction of inequality symbol.

From the given options, the second graph correctly represents this solution.

10 ft
nekit [7.7K]
10 x 8 = 80ft for the rectangle
To work out the area of the semi circle you do pi (3.14) x the radius squared, the radius is half the diameter.
3.14 x 4 squared
3.14 x16 = 50.24ftsqaured for the whole circle so you divide it by 2 which is 25.12ft squared.
And then finally you add 25.12 and 80 so your answer is 105.12 ft squared
