Answer:

Your answer is down here.

Explanation:

Hey There! To answer your question we must know two important things: NATO and the USSR

NATO

NATO or the North Atlantic Treaty Organization was formed in 1949 by 12 countries as a defensive system when Russian expansion in Europe was dangerous. NATO currently has 30 countries that are listed under its alliance.

USSR

The USSR or the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (Simply known as the Soviet Union) was a group of 15 countries including Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. All countries became independent after the Cold War.

________________________________________________________

All the countries once united in the Soviet Union have spread out and become independent countries by themselves. Now, Ukraine made a public statement to join NATO, a group that once fought Ukraine. This caused turmoil in Russia, and President Putin doesn't want Ukraine to join NATO.

Putin is currently trying to reunite Ukraine and Russia to remake the USSR. This led to many invasions across the Ukrainian border. Countries that have sided with Russia, such as Belarus, have been supplying troops. The opposing group, the US, has been supplying troops, artillery, weapons, and tanks to Ukraine.
