What structural decision does a translator make when translating an original text?

English

Answer:

When translating an original text, the translator has several options for making structural changes that include Character development, conflict resolution and dialogue and among those he should chose dialogue.

Explanation:

I also did a question on this recently so if its the same then B makes sense, because when you are translating from another language there are often many different words that mean the same thing. Therefore, the translator would get to choose which one to use.

This is not really a structural decision, but it is the only answer which would stay true to the original story. The translator’s job is the change the language. not the whole story. Therefore, A, C, or D can not be correct.

Hope i helped.

A brainliest is always appreciated.

Read the excerpt below from Chris Jacobs' narrative called Everlasting. As you read, think about how Jacobs creates an effective
Tanya [424]
•The prolonged beginning, narrated by a first-grader emphasises how big the world is to children.
•The sentences are long, laced with a lot of punctuation which sounds similar to how young children speak.
• the narrator settled into his ‘frustrated six-year-old silence’ and here, it is emphasised how a six year old communicates when angry, through silence. The author almost mocks this, through the use of sibilance. This proves the worlds ambiguity and how much more the child has to grow.

Here’s a few points to mention, hope it helps:) I’m not sure how old you are, so it may or may not be too complex

The accused’s fate would be decided in the king’s arena;the arena well deserved its name
Sliva [168]

Answer:

from the book: "The Lady, or the Tiger" by Frank R. Stockton

Explanation:

The original paragraph in the book where we get this quote reads;

"When a subject was accused of a crime of sufficient importance to interest the king, public notice was given that on an appointed day the fate of the accused person would be decided in the king's arena, a structure which well deserved its name, for, although its form and plan were borrowed from afar, its purpose emanated solely from the brain of this man, who, every barleycorn a king, knew no tradition to which he owed more allegiance than pleased his fancy, and who ingrafted on every adopted form of human thought and action the rich growth of his barbaric idealism."

Which word is the preposition and which word is the object of the preposition in this sentence? Our car bounced and rattled loud
daser333 [38]
A. Preposition: over; object of the preposition: bridge

A preposition shows the location of an object, it shows where something is. In this case the preposition is "over" as that is the only word that is showing 'where' something is and thus the car becomes the object.
