Government and the people of South Africa can have a good irrigation system as well as good water storage facilities.

Drought is a long period of dryness, there is usually no rain and it occur in the natural climate cycle.

Drought can affect plants leading to their wilting or death. It can occur anywhere in the world.

Way forward regarding droughts for the government and the people of South African is,

  • A good irrigation system, this system will conserve water during raining season and during dry season water will be made available especially to plants.
  • Storage facilities can be used by the people to conserve water especially during raining seasons.

Therefore, Government and the people of South Africa can have a good irrigation system as well as good water storage facilities
