The missing components are sodium bicarbonate and insufficient concentration of potassium and calcium.

What is Ringer's solution?

This type of solution is used as a blood substitute and contains sodium lactate in place of sodium bicarbonate.

This is given intravenously during dehydration or after major surgeries and is only used to boost the blood level nd not as a major replacement.

What two digestive processes occur in the small intestine
LuckyWell [14K]

Two digestive processes occur in the small intestine are:

1. Chemical digestion

Digestive enzymes from the pancreas and liver are secreted in the small intestine via the pancreatic duct. Also, bicarbonates are secreted from the pancreas into small intestine (duodenum) in order to neutralize acid coming from the stomach.

Molecules digested in small intestine are proteinsinto small peptides and amino acids (by trypsin, chymotrypsin, aminopeptidase and dipeptidase enzymes), lipids into fatty acids and glycerol (by pancreatic lipase and bile from the liver) and some carbohydrates into simple sugars (by pancreatic amylase enzyme).

2. Absorption

The food previously digested can pass into the blood vessels (be absorbed) through either diffusion or active transport.

No sarcasm is intended here, but which language would you pick?

English, French, Spanish, Italian, Greek or Russian, just to name a few. Latin is the root of many languages and most educated people understand enough of it to be able to identify what you are talking about.
