<em>Answer:</em>

<h2>80</h2>

<em>Step-by-step explanation:</em>

The fastest and simplest way I got it is this...

There are 9 small squares that make up one big square, right?

The 5 out of 9 squares are shaded.

The area of the whole square is 144 (12 times 12).

The logical thing to do is figure out what's 5/9 (five-ninths) of 144.

12*12=144\\\frac{5}{9}*144=80

So I believe the answer is 80.

Hope that helped! Tell me if it did, I don't want to mislead people. (So can I have brainliest?)

Our environment is very sensitive to the amount of ozone in the upper atmosphere. The level of ozone normally found is 7.8 parts

Answer:

The value of the test statistic is t = 2.67

Step-by-step explanation:

The null hypothesis is:

H_{0} = 7.8

The alternate hypotesis is:

H_{1} \neq 7.8

Our test statistic is:

t = \frac{X - \mu}{\frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}}

In which X is the sample mean, \mu is the value tested at the null hypothesis, \sigma is the standard deviation and n is the size of the sample.

In this problem, we have that:

X = 8.2, \mu = 7.8, \sigma = 0.6, n = 16

Then

t = \frac{X - \mu}{\frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}}

t = \frac{8.2 - 7.8}{\frac{0.6}{\sqrt{16}}}

t = 2.67

The value of the test statistic is t = 2.67

IM SORRY BUT I NEED THIS QUESTION TOO ASAP PLEASE
Paraphin [41]

Using proportions, it is found that the amount of the novel she would have read is:

D. 14/15.

<h3>What is a proportion?</h3>

A proportion is a fraction of a total amount, and the measures are related using a rule of three. Due to this, relations between variables, either direct or inverse proportional, can be built to find the desired measures in the problem.

She has finished 5/6 of the novel, and will have read more 1/10 in the next two days, hence the total amount read is given by:

\frac{5}{6} + \frac{1}{10} = \frac{25 + 3}{30} = \frac{28}{30} = \frac{14}{15}

Hence option D is correct.
