If you were to write a letter to the editor of a local newspaper as a farmer who owned land, you would argue for the reelection of FDR.

How would a famer who owned land argue?

Famers who owned land were mostly supporters of the New Deal policies of FDR because he worked to increase food prices, and to reduce surpluses which made prices lower.

He did this through the Agricultural Adjustment Act (AAA) which paid famers who did not plant some of their lands for not doing so.

Farmers who owned lands would therefore receive government subsidies and enjoy higher prices so would most likely support FDR.

It is likely that even famers without lands would support FDR as they still benefitted from higher prices.

Urban workers were given the right to join unions, and support for higher wages so they would probably support FDR too.

Business owners on the other hand, might not support FDR due to his support for labor.

In conclusion, writing a letter for you would be academic dishonesty but these tips should help you out.
