Which question should you ask yourself to to get ready for a collaborative discussion about setting?
My name is Ann [436]

Answer: 2 What does my novel's setting have to do with its plot?

Explanation:

The relationship between the plot and the setting is an important part of the written text because it gives the readers context to enable them have some sort of semblance of the time and location of the story. For instance, writing a Victorian era novel but basing the setting in modern day Johannesburg will be confusing to say the least.

It is therefore important that during a collaborative discussion about setting, that you discuss the relationship between the setting of the novel and the plot.

Why did the ancient Chinese make loud noises at festivals and during holiday celebrations? A. to show loyalty to the emperor B.
ipn [44]

D. To chase away evil spirits

There was a legend the Chinese had, saying that once there was a monster (a evil spirit)  that lived up in the mountains, and during festivals and holiday celebrations he would come down and eat the people, later the people discovered that firecrackers or loud noises would scare away this monster.  This is why we would make loud noises at festivals and during holiday celebrations.

Read the lines from Dickinson's "The Wind Began to Rock the Grass":
Lilit [14]
Although I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, it looks like you'e been waiting a while so I'm gonna give it a shot. At the beginning of it, It says began to rock which is present tense so it makes it sounds as if it is happening as we read it but then threw is past tense which makes it sound like it already happened.

Again I'm just pretty much guessing but that's all I got. Sorry if it didn't help but I tried.
