What story is this question for? I can try and help. I read a lot.
A Rainy Day
It was January at 3pm on the 2nd when I was at school, I looked out the window and saw a raindrop from where I was sitting (which was the back of the room. I went to the window and looked up at the sky and say it grey and then I heard a big crash and saw a white streak coming out of the sky with my own very eyes.
Hope this was good enough for you! :)
Answer:
1) The revised version of the paragraph would be as follows:
Huckleberry Finn was an excellent book. It told of a raft journey down the Mississippi. The book has been enjoyed by children and adults. I like to read once a year. Maybe we all have that desire to be free. You can get away from it all when you read about Huck.
2) The passage with the correct punctuation of the section of the paragraph is the one that follows: I like to read it once a year. Maybe we all have that desire to be free.
Explanation:
The first option is the right choice because in this sentence the writer is stating that he likes reading Huckleberry Finn once year. It's a fact. Therefore, it would not make sense for an adverb of probability like maybe to be included in the sentence. The adverb is part of the next sentence in which the writer presents a thought, a belief. He thinks that probably we all have a desire to be free. But he does not know it for sure.
Answer:
Mother: I don't think being a teacher will be the best thing to do.
Daughter: It is what I have always wanted to do. IT IS MY DREAM!
Mother: Being a teacher may not be the right choice to do. But I think you should just do what ever you feel is needed.
Explanation: You have to basically write a short story. It just have to be between the mother and the daughter. You said that the mother was skeptical about the daughter's choice in career. So you have to write something like the mother not really agreeing with them.
