How do origin and trickster tales reflect the culture of the people living in North America before the Europeans arrived?
vodomira [7]

Answer:

The themes explain spiritual beliefs and social norms of the society.

Explanation:

Every civilization has its tales. Of course, as each civilization has its own beliefs and norms, these tales can vary a lot despite often having some things in common.

Native American tales have survived thanks to oral storytellers. People would gather around a fire and listen to the storyteller, and then continue telling these stories until someone wrote them down.

Origin and trickster tales have survived exactly thanks to that. Origin tales are stories that tell about the origin of some feature of the natural or social world. Examples of Native American origin tales that have survived are the Salinan and Cherokee origin tales. They both exhibit the Native American tendency to locate spiritual power in the natural world.

When it comes to trickster tales, in the Native American literature, the trickster is best known as a shape-shifter. One of his main traits is ambiguity: he is often a creator and destroyer, a truth-teller and a liar. He is said to appear as some kind of a supernatural creature, usually playing an important mythological role in human creation.

Based on this information, we can conclude that the correct option is the first one.

Breaks from the blue-black
seropon [69]
Truth be told, it could be two. A would make sense in that the way the sentence is worded, the turtle herself seems weak. while C is also true to the word dragging as that would make it's movements awkward and difficult. I'd say your best bet would be C as turtles heavy backs and it's slowly speed would make the term "Dragging" make more sense.

His mother told him that Slavery still exists in many parts of the world, which led Zach learn more about abolitionists and their perspectives over ending slavery.
