Answer:

David, (flourished c. 1000 bce), second king of ancient Israel. He founded the Judaean dynasty and united all the tribes of Israel under a single monarch. His son Solomon expanded the empire that David built. According to biblical tradition (and some say myth), David (c. 1035 - 970 BCE) was the second king in the ancient United Kingdom of Israel who helped establish the eternal throne of God. Matthew begins by calling Jesus the son of David, indicating his royal origin, and also son of Abraham, indicating that he was an Israelite; both are stock phrases, in which son means descendant, calling to mind the promises God made to David and to Abraham. David was an aide at the court of Saul until the monarch's jealousy forced him into outlawry. He became king of Israel on Saul's death. He captured Jerusalem from the Jebusites and made it his capital, defeated the Philistines, and gained control of many bordering kingdoms. David is a strong but unassuming shepherd who becomes God's choice to replace Saul as king of Israel. He is humble yet self-possessed, readily dismissing human opinion. His humility becomes clear early in his youth, when he kills the giant Goliath with a sling stone, declining the opportunity to use Saul's royal armor.

When was the low point of President Jackson's presidency?
hichkok12 [17]

Answer: Below, you can pick out whatcha want!

Explanation: Andrew Jackson was the seventh president of the US, he served two terms from 1829 to 1837. His presidency marked the end of elites running a democracy, the system then changed to a mass democracy in which white men of all classes could vote. Because of this, he is considered the main founder of the Democratic Party.

He had a strong pro-white presidency, he had a series of policies that ended up in the Indian Removal Act removed thousands of Native Americans from their land.

On the other side, he terminated national debt and freed the US from foreign and domestic obligations. He also recognized the independence of Texas.

During the Nullification Crisis, he solved the issue by signing the Force Bill that made possible the use of military force to enforce the tariff. He also signed the Compromise Tariff of 1833 that gradually reduced the rates and made not necessary to use the Force Bill.

On Foreign matters, he made a deal with Great Britain and opened the West Indies Colonies to US merchant ships, because of this there was a 70% increase in US exports and 250% increase in imports.

He fought corruption by taking several measures, such as investigations, pass laws to prevent evasion of customs duties and improve government accounting.
