During the Renaissance, people would put so much emphasis on religion and unworldly things instead of human potential and what was physically in front of us. Humanism led people to <span>realize that humans could achieve great things in the world and that we shouldn't completely revolve our lives around religion and religious figures like the Pope.</span>
