im not really emotional tbh and I don’t tear up over any book, but that book made me release a few tears. Anyways, “me before you” changed the way I looked at my life. It made me realize that there are people who are in William Traynor’s exact situation and I realized how fortunate I am to have the use of my entire body, while others cannot. It also made me realize that when we see someone in need, we should try to help them. Such as a blind person crossing the street, or a person in a wheelchair who needs help rolling up to a supermarket for example, or even simply opening the door for an elderly person. “Me before you” really did trigger a lot of emotions. I laughed when William was constantly teasing Louisa over her odd wardrobe choices, and I cried when he died at the end of the story.
